My boy Sharkdogg alerted me to this ridiculous rap on Youtube, which samples (interpolates?) sections of the reverent Swedish hymn “Tryggare Kan Ingen Vara” and turns it into a really lame rap. (You can tell he keeps it real because he uses the F-word… scary.)

Stephen said in an email that Lina Sandell (the woman who wrote the hymn) is rolling over in her grave. I’d like to think that maybe she wouldn’t be rolling so hard if this beat didn’t sound like it came from a Casio. Ah well.

If you don’t know me well you might not know this, but I’m all about putting Godly hymns to hip-hop.
